Acne Treatments For Sensitive Skin

Sandy asks…

What is the best cleanser for sensitive acne prone skin?

I have sensitive skin, I’ve tried proactive, skin id, spectro…etc.
are these any good?
olay warming cleanser deep purifying
neutrogena acne stress control 3 in 1 treatment
st.ives green tea cleanser
st. ives gentle apricot scrub
cetaphil??

I don’t eat fried foods, and almost no chocolates and things with a lot of sugar.

admin answers:

Don’t use anything harsh on your skin. Many people believe that they have to scrub their face and use many different kind of cleansers to clear up their acne. What you should do is get a Buff Puff for sensitive skin and use Cetaphil facial cleanser to wash your face twice a day. Then moisturize your face with Cetaphil lotion. That’s all you need to do.

Best acne treatment for ULTRA sensitive skin?

I need a product that gets rid of acne, not just prevents it. I also have extremely sensitive skin to consider.

I have very sensitive skin… I have tried everything. From Proactive, to everything you can think of. Then I realized the answer wasnt putting anything on my skin… So I asked my doctor and he prescribed me TETRACYCLINE. Best stuff you can use. Works fast, and has no side effects. Ask your doctor about it…

Robert asks…

What are some good acne products for sensitive skin?

I have used clean and clear and neutrogena face wash and it ends up breaking out my skin because my skin is sensitive. Is there any acne products or natural remedies that clear acne that can be used for sensitive skin?

admin answers:

There are also some natural methods for acne removal, such as soaking a cotton ball in vinegar and sea salt and then putting the solution on your face for a few minutes before washing it off. This has a drying effect, but it may or may not be irritating to your skin.

As in the case of the drug store treatment, make sure you test it before you put it on your face.
