Acne Treatments For Sensitive Skin

George asks…

What is the best acne treatment yo have ever tried?

I have sensitive skin, but not so sensitive that I must use a sensitive product. So I am open to any of your suggestions!

admin answers:

Well I have sensitive skin also that rips easily! I don’t see any product that can really works in the long terms. Beside advising you to see a dermatologist. Why don’t you follow this method.

Avoid alcohol products to tone your skin. Alcohol is a strong astringent that strips the top layer of the skin causing sebaceous glands to produce more oil.

Do not squeeze or pick the acne with fingernails, pins or any other thing. It forces the bacteria deeper into the skin and often leaves a permanent acne scar.

Exercising regularly can also help reduce stress and it increases blood circulation and oxygen penetration to the skin, which may help with acne prevention.

Drink plenty of water a day to help “detoxify” the body from the inside out.

Consume food rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin B-2, Vitamin B-3, Vitamin E and Zinc like eggs, nuts, liver, milk, fish and leafy green vegetables.

Proper sleep and a life without stress and emotional anxiety can reduce acne.

Carol asks…

I would like to make my own facial cleansing pads. is it possible to do this and have it be good for the skin?

I have oily, sensitive skin especially in the t-zone and i thought i would be nice to a homemade acne treatment/facial cleansing system.

admin answers:

I know that Witch Hazel is a really good remedy for oily skin. Next time you go to a pharmacy, like CVS or Rite Aid, buy some. It’s cheap, and it is usually next to the rubbing alcohol and peroxide. If you make your own facial cleansing pads, make sure you include it in there!

Ken asks…

What is a good acne solution for sensitive skin?

I already tried proactiv but it just made my face really red. I have big pores, an oily face ,and a good amount of small pimples on my face. and really sensitive skin.

I AM ABOUT TO BE A LICESED ESTHETICIAN, TRY MURAD ACNE TREATMENT IT IS A LITTLE BIT EXPENSIVE BUT PROACTIVE IS HARD ON YOUR FACE, ALSO ONLY WASH YOUR FACE ONCE A DAY IF YOU WASH IT TO MUCH YOU WILL IRRITATE IT REALLY BAD. UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS NOTHING TO BE DONE ABOUT BIG PORES I HAVE SOME BUT IT ISNT THAT BAD. CONCEALER MAKES THEM APPEAR LARGER AFTER A WHILE, I WEAR MAC STUDIO FIX ONLY IT IS WORKS GREAT. BUT TRY MURAD OR DERMALOGICA SPECIAL CLEASER THAT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE TOO
