Acne Treatments That Actually Work

Ruth asks…

Any recommendations on acne treatments for African-Americans?

I have been searching, without much success, for acne treatments that ACTUALLY work for African-Americans,and don’t leave acne marks/spots.
Any suggestions/recommendations?

I havent used this system yet, but will try. I get pimples, they go away without me popping them or even touching them and I still get scars or dark marks. Maybe this website will help:

They have many videos on youtube that show African-Americans with Acne and how this system works. I’m definitely given it a shot even though its on the expensive side.

What a good acne treatment that actually works?

I’ve been using Proactiv for almost two months now and it really doesn’t work as great as it did. I don’t have dry or oily skin, it’s just normal. What acne treatment would be best for me? Please only answer if you have some sort of experience with the products you might suggest. Thank you. :)

What is a natural solution to dandruff?

Please do not recommend a shampoo, they don’t work on me. Most store products don’t for example my skin reacted badly to any acne treatment, and actually made it worse, so I started drinking a lot of water and now it’s gone. So what is a natural solution to dandruff?

admin answers:

Apple Cider Vinegar rinse- do it, I had really bad dandruff and now I shampoo with ACV and focus on my scalp. No more dandruff! You can get ACV at grocery stores, it’s very acidic and smells horrrible! Mix it in a spray bottle with mostly water and spray directly into scalp. But it really works to cleanse hair gently and cure dandruff. I’m getting away from chemicals, plus natural just works better.

Henna- I have heard this is a really good treatment for dandruff. Plus body quality henna will also give hair and nice red tint and make hair stronger, healthier, and shinier.

Baking soda.
