Acne Treatments That Work

Susan asks…

What kind of acne treatment won’t interfere with birth control?

I’m meeting with my dermatologist to discuss going on acne treatment. The problem is, I’m going to be with my mom, who I haven’t told I was having sex yet. I need to be put on something that won’t interfere with the effectiveness of my birth control. Anyone know of one that actually works? I’m looking for an oral treatment since creams and gels don’t work for me and only dry out my skin.
I’m ON birth control, and it didn’t help.

I’ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it’s at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I’m 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I’ve ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It’s unique cause of it’s herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn’t work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes.

Chris asks…

Would it make these acne treatments less effective if I make them and bottle them?

I found a website that has home remedie acne treatments and I figured when I have a lot of time I can make a little bit of each one and bottle and lable them. woudl it make them less effective from sitting on a shelf in a bottle?

admin answers:

I think it would probably make them less effective depends on the ingredients. What are they and What is the site? Maybe you could refrigerate them. I don’t know I’d have to know what ingredients

Mark asks…

Would doing a mask be bad while doing an acne treatment ?

I am currently doing an acne treatment like the proacte 3 step stem but it’s leaving my face all dry. I was wondering if it would be bad to exfoliate my face with sugar, honey, and lemon all mixed together?

admin answers:

The reason it’s drying is because of the benzoyl peroxide. Here is what you can do to mitigate the dryness:

1) Apply a thin layer of lightweight moisturizer underneath the benzoyl peroxide.
2) OR mix 1 part benzoyl peroxide with 1 part lightweight moisturizer.

If you really want to do that mask, you can, but it won’t really relieve the dryness once you wash it all off. Mask is really for pampering purposes. Test the mask on a small section of skin to see if you are allergic to it. If not, then go for it. Just be careful, lemon is known to irritate.
