Clear Acne In 4 Weeks

Sandy asks…

How do I get rid of old acne marks on my skin?

I had a break out of acne on my chest during the winter. The pimples are gone now, but there are still red marks where they were. I know they go away on their own eventually, but I’m going on a trip in a few weeks and wanted to get rid of it and have clear skin in case I go swimming or something. Is there anything I can use to speed up the process of them going away? Any certain products, lotions or other remedies?

The products you are using, are they Salsylic Acid or Benzoyl peroxide? BP can be VERY drying. I personally like SA better. Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! Try finding a face lotion with SA in it. Clean and Clear has a good moisturizer with SA and it helps keep pimples at bay. It is only about $5 a bottle and lasts about 2 months and you can get it at your local store. I have used this in the past and it works well. Personally, I use Biore products (which you get over the counter. Their products range from $5-$10). They are harsh on pimples, but not on your face.
Personally, Proactive didn’t work for me. I have been using Biore products for over a year and I hardly ever break out! Occasionally I will get one or two, but nothing bad. I use Biore Ice Cleanser for acne and Biore warming facial scrub every morning for blackheads (This stuff works. I notcied a DRASTIC diffrence in my blackeads being GONE within 2 weeks) . And then 3-4 day s a week I use Biore purging pore cream scrub. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy! Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Remember, it can take 1 month for products to fully begin working! Good Luck!

What is the best brand of cleanser to get clear skin?

I have soft skin and it doesn’t usually get too oily. I just get a few pimples here and there and I want to know what the best brand of cleanser to use to get rid of them. I also have a bit of dry skin sometimes so it can’t dry out my skin. I want to have clear skin all of the time but I don’t want to spend too much money. Thanks!
I’ve tried Proactive before and it didn’t really do anything different for my skin. It also costed too much.

I have tried many cleansers and they don’t work. So i tried another approach, a natural approach and it worked GREAT!!! My skin is clearing up!!!

I had the same problem!!! I found a way to get rid of all the acne and scars. You will be making a mask and toner. This has worked SOOOO well for my skin!!!
-Apple Cider Vinegar OR Cider Vinegar…NOT ORDINARY VINEGAR!
-Cooled down Green Tea
***For heads up…the mask and toner smells bad, so you will want to do this at night**
1.Add 1 teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar(Or Cider Vinegar) to bowl.
2.Add 2 teaspoons of cooled down green tea
3.Add 5 teaspoons of sugar in bowl.
4.Stir a little
5.Add 1 teaspoon of honey
7.Add final 2 teaspoons of sugar
8. Stir
9.Put in jar or container
***This will last for 2 weeks**[[ALSO this looks like it won't make that much, but you don't need too much on your face**
1. Clean face
2.You will want to pull your hair back, because it can be messy
3.(You can use a cotton pad, but I just use my fingers) Put a fair amount of your face **After using this for awhile, make sure you are getting the sugar on your face, after 1 use, it will sink to the bottom**
4.Massage your face ((in circular motion)) for about 2-5 minutes, but no more than 5.
5.Let it settle for 10 minutes
6. Rinse off with warm water and pat face dry
***(Use a jar or container,, if using a container, you don't need to fill up the whole container) The toner is 1 part Apple Cider Vinegar(Or Cider Vinegar) and 2 parts cooled down green tea.***
1. Fill up the jar/container 25% of (Apple)Cider Vinegar (About 1/3)
2. Fill the rest up with green tea(About 2/3)
[[You can add a teaspoon of olive oil OR tea tree oil OR lemon juice..i used lemon juice]]
3.Shake up the container/jar good
1.Use a cotton pad and get it wet with the toner.
2. Swipe on skin evenly
You may use moisturizer at end. I would use this at night and leave toner on all night
**When going to bed use a clip and pull your hair back from your face, so your hair doesn’t get in your face at night**

—hope this helps =)
