Clear Acne In 4 Weeks

William asks…

Does anyone know of any good face products for acne?

I have had moderate acne since i was in 5th grade and I am in11th now and I’ve been trying to clear my face up. The severity varies a lot depending on stress mostly. My face does get a bit oily but not too much. Any product or home remedy will help. Please include possible side effects such as dryness if there are any.. Thank you!

6 things must be done EVERYDAY to reduce/prevent acne: 1)Wash, Tone, Moisturize Face at least 2x a day, morning & night (possibly 3rd time, midday, if super oily/sweating). 2)Don’t Let Dirty Things Touch Face 3)Eat Healthy Food, Limit Junk Food 4)Take Multi Vitamin Mineral 5)Drink About 64 oz Pure Water 6)Do 20to30 Min Aerobic Exercise. Doing 1 or a few of these will NOT keep skin clear as possible!

STEP 1 (required): Wash Face with warm water & cleanser. Try Purpose Gentle Cleansing Bar by Johnson & Johnson.

STEP 2 (required): Tone Face with liquid toner/astringent. Try Witch Hazel (Thayers or Dickinson’s) its gentle, non-drying, reduces bacteria/swelling, helps prevent acne, minimizes pore size.

STEP 3 (optional): Treat Face with acne medicine (cream/gel). Try ONE of these active ingredients for a period of time to see if skin improves: Benzoyl Peroxide, Salicylic Acid, Sulfur, Alpha Hydroxy Acid, Beta Hydroxy Acid, Lactic Acid, Glycolic Acid. Try acids by Alpha Hydrox/Neoteric Cosmetics, Skin Laboratory, Perfect Peel Solutions, Cellbone Technology. Try Alpha Hydrox Oil-Free Formula 10% Glycolic AHA. Acid heals acne, cyst, scars!

STEP 4 (required): Moisturize Face. Try Neutrogena Oil Free Moisture SPF 15. Neutrogena Healthy Skin Face Lotion SPF 15 contains Alpha Hydroxy Acid! Or try Lily Of The Desert Aloe Vera Gelly, its 99% organic, contains vitamin A, C, E! Don’t use other brands of aloe, has very little aloe & to much junk in it which can irritate skin! Aloe vera is gentle, helps renew skin cells, heals blemishes/scars.

STEP 5 (optional): Apply Makeup. Try Revlon ColorStay Combination/Oily Skin SPF 6 Foundation. Using a Makeup Setting Spray (Skindinavia, Model In A Bottle, Urban Decay, Sephora) will give you shine-free skin all day!

STEP 6 (optional): Face Massage improves acne prone skin because it removes toxins away from the face & delivers nutrients to the skin. To see results, do EVERYDAY or every other day! Wash face. Apply toner. WASH HANDS & then use aloe vera as massage gel. Do 10 min massage before going to bed. Don’t wash face again, let aloe dry on face. Buy any book on face massage, such as Ten Minute Facelift by Jennie Harding.

STEP 7 (optional): Face Mask can improve acne prone skin. Do 1 or 2 times a week. Buy mask for oily acne skin or make homemade mask by mixing plain oatmeal with water. Wash face. Apply oatmeal mask. Leave on for 20 to 30 min. Rinse off with warm water, Apply toner & moisturizer.

FACE PRODUCT CAUTION: Only use oil free products that won’t clog pores & cause acne! Products that work for one person may not work for another person, so always do small patch test on face for a couple of days to see how skin will react to product! Don’t quickly jump from product to product! Give skin a break before trying new product to prevent irritation! Natural & gentle products are sometimes more effective than acne medicine! If you are going to use acne medicine, prevent irritation & dryness by using a medicine-free cleanser (step 1), and then only using ONE medicated formula! Decide which ONE formula will have the acne medicine in it: Toner (step 2), Treatment (step 3), Moisturizer (step 4), or Makeup (step 5)!

HANDS, HAIR, STUFF: Keep dirt & bacteria at bay to prevent breakouts! Always wash hands before applying face products! Don’t rest hands on face! Don’t let phone nor dirty oily hair touch face! Don’t lean face on objects! Clean glasses often! Wash pillowcase, sheets, blanket, washcloth, towel often! Old makeup, makeup tools harbor bacteria, Use fresh makeup, wash/replace tools often! Wash makeup off face before going to bed!

AEROBIC EXERCISE increases circulation & delivery of nutrients to skin cells, encourages good blood supply, helps remove toxins, controls acne breakouts! To see results, do 20 to 30 min of exercise, EVERYDAY or every other day! Drink Water! Immediately take a shower to remove sweat & dirt!

FOOD & LIQUID: Research has shown that there is a connection between certain kinds of food & acne! Read book The Clear Skin Diet by Alan C. Logan & Valori Treloar! This book has detailed info on what to eat and not to eat to help reduce/prevent acne! Always eat healthy food – fruit, vegetables, lean meat, fiber, beans, wholegrains, foods rich in omega 3 fatty acids, vitamin A & C. Limit intake of dairy, milk, fat, oil, butter, greasy/fried foods, sugar, candy, sodium, salt, dessert, caffeine, coffee, pop, alcohol. Always avoid cigarettes, tobacco, illegal drugs! Its hard to get all vitamins minerals skin needs, so take supplement everyday! Overdosing on vitamins minerals from food or supplements is dangerous! Drinking about 64 oz of pure water everyday improves skin quality, flushes out toxins, delivers nutrients to skin! You can also include 100% Fruit Juice as part of your daily total. Acne can be caused or aggravated by constipation, make sure bow movements are regular! Getting enough sleep helps skin repair itself!

Charles asks…

What would be the best product to get rid of pimples?

I’ve been breaking out for a while now. Its not acne but I must get rid of it. But each time I go to the store I don’t know which product to buy to rid my pimples the quickest and do any damage.

How to heal pimples:

1. Wash you skin thoroughly and pat it dry with clean towel.
2. Wrap an ice cube in a washcloth and hold it over the spot for a minute or two; it’ll help bring down the swelling.
3. Dip the end of a cotton swab into some diluted tea tree oil (available at any pharmacy, and trust me, this oil was meant for the skin!) and dot a tiny amount directly into the pimple.
4. Leave it alone to heal. Don’t pop, pinch, or squeeze pimples, it will only make it worse.

Also, you can dab a bit of alcohol, lemon juice, toothpaste, or vinegar to pimple before going to bed each night. When you wake up the pimple will be gone. This is because lemon juice, alcohol, toothpaste and vinegar will dry the oil out of pimples.Salt mixed with some water also works. Apply the mixture directly into the pimple. I’ve also heard that honey removes acne real well too, and it does make your skin totally soft!!!

This works SOOOO well! I’m not kidding, and you got to try it!
And, tomato juice works too… You cut the tomato into slices and use it like a cleansing pad; rub it around your face and on pimples and pat dry with towel. You can make it into a natural exfoliating pad by sprinkling some sugar on the surface of the tomato slice and rubbing it all on your face.

Even if you don’t have acne, you must do the following skincare routine daily, morning and night to ensure clear and clean skin:

Make sure you cleanse with a face wash (a very good home cleanser is milk mixed with olive oil), exfoliate with a scrub (or with some sugar mixed with some water), tone with a toner (you can make one by mixing apple cider vinegar with water), and moisturize face with a lotion or cream everyday (you could use olive oil instead of a cream, it is very moisturizing). Steam the face using boiling hot water, apply a face mask (homemade mask: 3 tbsp. Plain yogurt, 1 tsp. Honey, and a few drops of lemon juice, and mix together), and do a face massage (using olive oil, but its optional) only once, or at most, two times a week. It may seem like a tedious skincare routine, but this facial will really help you avoid blemishes in the future!

Laura asks…

How do you get rid of pimples over night?

I have two right on my chin area and I’m guilty or popping them. They started to turn into scabs but it’s still acne. Are there any ways to get rid of them and other sports with ache over night?

Lemon Juice Applied Directly to Acne

Lemon juice contains one of the AHAs or Alpha Hydroxy Acids which is citric acid. It works by sloughing off dead skin, promoting skin elasticity, and enabling new skin cell growth rise from underneath. It also flushes out pores and keeps your skin feeling fresh and bright.

Lemon Juice Topical Recipe / Instructions

1. Ensure your skin is clean.
2. Squeeze 1 teaspoon of lemon juice into a small bowl. Use a cotton ball to soak up some juice. Dilute it with water if it burns.
3. Dab the juice onto your pimples, whiteheads, blackheads, and pimples.
4. Leave on over night and rinse in the morning. Apply it again (under your makeup if you’re female).
5. If you find the lemon juice too strong too leave on, even diluted with water, wash it off after 10 minutes in cold water.

Expect improvements with this remedy after about 2 weeks. At this time, add a gentle cleanser with glycolic acid, like B. Kamins cleanser for normal to oily skin combination.

It is possible that your acne is only one symptom of your body not receiving enough nutrients, vitamins, minerals or liquids. Therefore, consider detoxifying your body, which gets to the root cause of many diseases, including acne.

The e-book, Acne no More is an excellent read about the power of detoxifying your system, and learning how to care for your body the right way. I highly recommend it.
