Clear Acne In 4 Weeks

Maria asks…

How to clear bad acne with home remedies?

OK so I’m 17 and for some reason a lot of the girls at my school have perfect skin…then I come along and I look like a cherry pie.

Alright maybe I’m exaggerating a bit…but does anyone know perhaps any home remedies to help clear acne? I’m already using the Clinique acne treatment but it doesn’t seem to be doing the trick. Mostly freaking out because Senior pictures are in a few weeks and I don’t want to be remembered in the yearbook as the girl with bad acne :[

Hello Dear Sandra,
Try this it will help you cure your acne/pimples…

Here is the immediate/ fast cure for pimple is homemade, simple and natural…
1.You can use ice:Wrap ice cubes/crushed ice in a piece of cloth and put it on the affected area for few seconds…wait few minute and try it again. This will help freeze the skin pores and remove the dirt and oil in the skin.Do this repeatedly throughout the day,It does enhance blood circulation.
2.Use Fresh Lemon Juice:It’s rich with Vitamin C, Dip a clean cotton swab into a fresh lemon juice not bottled one with preservatives, apply it before going to bed…it helps to dry up pimples very fast!
3.Use Honey:This is a great healer,it has natural antibiotics that will help heal skin infection and also prevent them too. Dip a clean cotton swab into a natural/fresh honey, apply it on the affect area leave it for half an hour/apply before going to bed.Wash off with lukewarm water.
4.Use steam:yea you got it steam…when you cook, boil water.Fill a large container with the hot water and allow the steam to come in contact with your face,it will open the pores for the skin to breathe all the oils, dirt and bacteria will come out.
5. Tea tree oil:It is a great cure for PIMPLES,it’s a simple and natural way to cure it…it contains terpinen-4-ol a good antibacterial agent, apply tea tree oil directly to your pimple and it will cure.

I didn’t think I have allergies? I was using a bath & body MOISTURIZER for 4 months, then I started feeling like headache spells. It got worst every time I take a shower. It’s GRAPEFRUIT scent. 100% PARABEN FREE. 100% NATURAL. (I eat grapefruits, so I know I’m not allergic to that! But I know, GELS can harm the nerves, I’ve posted it many times. I couldn’t return it, but I started using a bar of soap & wash cloth, while the reaction is slowly fades away. It’s been 2 weeks, and I could feel it’s coming off my system! But it took 4 months to give me that allergic feeling!
IF A PRODUCT IS LABELED “ALL NATURAL” OR “ORGANIC,” IT’S PROBABLY HYPOALLERGENIC.False
Remember, poison ivy is all natural, too! But you probably don’t want it on your skin. It is very possible to have an allergic reaction, or other irritation, from products labeled “all natural” or “organic.” For example, lanolin, from sheep’s wool, is a common natural ingredient in some moisturizers that sometimes causes allergic reactions.
You may also need to watch certain “all natural” products that contain substances taken from plants. These products may be more at risk for bacteria. Since these products contain no preservatives or have non-traditional ones, your risk of infection may be greater.

Take the quiz yourself and see How Smart Are You About Cosmetics?

EVEN IF A PRODUCT IS LABELED “HYPOALLERGENIC,” IT MAY CONTAIN SUBSTANCES THAT CAN CAUSE ALLERGIC REACTIONS.
Good thinking! Question 6b is True!
After all, people are individuals. And there’s no telling what any individual may be allergic to. According to the cosmetic industry, “hypoallergenic” means “less likely to cause an allergic reaction.” But dermatologists – and consumers who have allergies – know that the word “hypoallergenic” on the label is no guarantee against an allergic reaction.

N the beauty industry, there is no industry-agreed meaning for terms like ‘organic’ or ‘natural’. Unlike the food industry, these terms are not regulated for cosmetics which means companies can use these terms pretty freely.
Also, products like shampoo, conditioner and body wash are mostly made of water so therefore are mostly natural (because water is natural, right?). So if a shampoo is 90% water, then a company can simply claim “90% organic or natural” and be telling the truth. Certainly, this isn’t in the spirit of what people believe organic to mean, but it is within the law.

Don’t believe the hype: “For skin care products, ‘organic is not enough,. Some organic products are fabulous, and some are not.” ~ Dr. Lisa Chipps , M.D. Specializes in removing skin cancer & repairing the resultant wound (laser therapy whiz) in Rodeo Drive.
“Organic skin care products are trendy, but that does not mean nonorganic ones are dangerous,” Wendy E. Roberts, M.D. Past president of the Women’s Dermatologic Society.

Less is more, less skin poisoning. Take a shower every day, use a wash cloth bath & body wash, to exfoliate. & moisturizer (just a tiny bit) on your face, to prevent acne. Any kind of facial wash, you’re leaving something toxic behind, it’s not a matter of convenience, it’s a billion dollar business that can do more harm than good to your acne. And sometimes we feel entirely virtuous about our skin-care regimen because it’s full of SPF– all year round!– and cleansers and such. But the truth is, we may not realize that we’re overdoing (or underdoing) something that can lead to the very thing we’re trying to avoid: dryness, breakouts, accelerated aging, New York dermatologist Dr. Jeannette Graf. (I’ve been giving this same advice for decades, but she’s proof enough!). Acne medication could worsen what ever allergies you have, so instead of trying out one product after another, you’re actually spreading it around.
Sometimes just the oil on your face from make up and lotions, even from your hair can travel to your face causing acne to come out. Others, from stress, hormones & diet or foods.

Lizzie asks…

If I use a salt water face wash twice a day, how long until I see results?

I have mild acne all over my face, and I’ve heard that this is a great way to get rid of acne:
1. Exersize
2. Wash face with a cleanser
3. Splash fresh water on face
4. Gently put salt water on face
5. Leave on for 5 minutes
6. After 5 minutes, rinse off with fresh water
7. Repeat twice a day (except exersizing part, that’s only once) and at night leave on all night

Will this really work to clear up acne? I also have a slightly oily face, and will table salt work? That’s all I have. Thanks!
