Unfortunately there is no way to get rid of acne fast. Beware of using any products for acne unless they have been prescribed or recommended by your doctor. People make all kinds of suggestions about the best thing to do to cure acne. Some cures I’ve heard include putting oatmeal, honey, lemon juice, tea tree oil, cucumber, vinegar, milk of magnesia or toothpaste on your face. Practically every cosmetics company and company that makes personal care products makes something that is a “sure cure” for acne. If we think about this, and use some common sense, we have to come to the conclusion that there is no quick or easy cure for acne, because if there was it would be well known and doctors would be telling everyone about it.

Numerous companies make a lot of money persuading people to buy products that at worst will make the acne worse, and at best may help some people a little. Often fewer products are better. People often make their acne much worse by using too many products. There really is no quick fix for acne. Don’t spend a lot of money on products just because their ads say that they will cure acne. Your doctor is the best person to ask for help, and he or she may recommend some prescription medication or non-prescription treatment that may be suitable for you..

There are some very simple and basic things you can do that cost nothing. Keep your face or any other area affected by acne very clean. Any mild antibacterial soap will help with that. Rinse the area well to remove all soap residue. Drink plenty of water – it really does help to clear up acne. Eat a nutritious diet and get enough sleep. A healthy life style will make a difference. Try to reduce the stress in your life – stress contributes to acne, so also probably the more you worry about the acne and focus on it, the worse it will be.

Probably the most useful and effective things you can do are to apply hot compresses to pustules and cysts and never to pick or squeeze pimples. Playing with or popping pimples, no matter how careful and clean you are, nearly always makes bumps stay redder and bumpier longer.

Stress can affect hormones and can theoretically promote acne. I try to do natural home remedies but here are some helpful tips that might be helpful for acne and scar:
1) Tea Tree Oil
2) Lemon oil or juice
3) Mandarin oil
4) Cedar wood – good for eczema
5) Lavender
6) Apple cider vinegar
7) Bamboo extract or Sarna lotion – good for rosacea, psoriasis, eczema 8) Bio Oil or BB cream for dark spots or scars
9) Toothpaste is very effective for acne leave on face for about 20 to 30 minutes then wash.
10) Zinc really works on acne
11) 2% Erythromycin
12) Benzoin Peroxide
13) Neem oil good for acne, psoriasis, eczema, skin ulcers (taken either orally or externally)

Applied lemon juice or apple cider vinegar to face or you can drink it through using it in water a few drops a day. Will help with both acne, and scars as well. Another way you can get rid of acne is by taking bamboo extract something I started when I had the problem really does work. Hope this works for you.

Here are other methods to clear up blemishes.

Tea-Tree Oil
Tea tree oil is a popular home remedy for acne. An essential oil is diluted and applied topically to acne lesions. How is tea tree oil believed to work? Tea tree oil contains a constituent called terpinen-4-ol that’s thought to be responsible for most of tea tree oil’s anti-bacterial activity. Because tea tree oil can kill bacteria, applying topical tea tree oil to acne lesions is believed to kill Propionibacterium acnes, the skin-dwelling bacteria involved in acne. To treat mild, and occasional breakouts. This is how it works: Distilled from the leaves of an Australian shrub, tea-tree oil contains antibacterial and anti-microbial compounds called terpenoids that help kill the bacteria that, when trapped behind oil in a plugged pore, lead to acne breakouts. Try Burt’s Bees Herbal Blemish Stick ($8, burtsbees.com). A roller-ball tube makes for easy application. Studies testing tea-tree oil against the gold-standard acne treatment, benzoyl peroxide, have shown that while the latter works more quickly, tea-tree oil is equally effective over time. And it results in fewer annoying side effects—namely, dryness and redness.

Neem oil
It is powerful antiviral and antibacterial properties, beneficial to those who suffer from various skin conditions like acne, psoriasis, eczema, skin ulcers, helps one treat hair related problems like dandruff and itchy scalp. Dental care products like toothpaste, mouth washes and rinses all use the neem oil’s antiseptic properties to keep teeth health and gums free of infection.
Benefits also include its use in household items like mosquito repellents, disinfectants and personal hygiene products.

Sulfur
If you have sensitive skin.
How it works: A time-tested, gentle acne fighter, sulfur “acts like a sponge to draw oil out of blocked pores,”. This dries up pimples and keeps sebum production in check, helping to prevent future blemishes. Sulfur has a distinct smell—think rotten eggs. Most preparations that use it contain a masking fragrance. However, to play it safe (and avoid scaring off coworkers), apply these products at night.

Salicylic Acid
To treat and soothe red, inflamed blemishes. Salicylic acid can have a calming, anti-inflammatory effect on pimples. “It also breaks down the ‘cement’ between cells in clogged pores to help unplug them,”
Salicylic acid is less irritating than more potent treatments, so it may be better for those with dry skin. It also tends to work well on stubborn blackheads.

Retinoid
Nightly to prevent breakouts.
How they work: Retinoid, which include over-the-counter retinol and prescription-strength Retin-A, reduce acne by altering the oil chemistry on the skin. “They help stop dense sebum from getting stuck within the pores,” says Gross. Without oil deposits, bacteria can’t grow and cause blemishes. Since retinoid can make skin sensitive to the sun, doctors recommend using them at night (and being diligent about wearing sunscreen during the day). To avoid irritation, apply every other evening to start, gradually working up to nightly use. Bonus benefit: Retinoid have been shown to increase collagen production and plump fine lines, making them a good choice if you’re dealing with acne and wrinkles.

Theres really no way that will deff work because everyone is different, but heres 10 ideas and tips!
1. Try proactive! It really helped to clean up my skin but can be a little bit costly.
2. Pick a face was that works along with a dual mosturizer that also fights acne problems. Use them twice a day, in the morning and before you go to bed. Also try a spot treatment to go along with that so you can dry up those pesky pimples fast!
3. Try all natural facial masks! Mash up some banana and mix with with honey! It makes your skin feel smooth after and nice and clean!
4. Watch what you eat! Stick away from greasy foods, sodas etc. Or at least try to limit them!
5. Excercise! Sweating is good for the skin!
6. DRINK A LOT OF WATER. This really worked for me, I started drinking more water and noticed within days that my skin was looking much better!
7. I can not stress this one enough. Use OILFREE makeup! And try to stay away from pore clogging foundation and coverup! Use mineral makeup or light powders that wont make your skin even worse.
8. Get a lot of sleep and try not to stress! Relaxation is good for your body and mind overall so try to chill out and get lots of rest!
9. Keep your hair out of your face! Especially when you sleep so that the oils from your hair don’t get on your face- especially your forehead because this is an easy place to breakout.
10. Don’t worry! Everyone gets acne and eventually it will clear up! You are not alone!
