1. Get rid of acne. Go get clear skin.
2. Change your wardrobe to something a bit stylish. Dresses (that aren’t slutty) can be cute in the spring and summer. Cute sweaters or cardigans during the winter and fall. You can shop at places such as Forever 21 (popular store) or even in Macy’s (but you have to really search sometimes!)
3. Go to makeup. Find a feature on your face that you really want guys to look at when they talk to you or look at you. Ex. Eyes: You can get some nice black eyeliner and go around the rims of your eyes to make them pop out. Plus a little light colored eye shadow for color. (Skin tone would look nice – not something non-natural such as a blue or orange.)
4. Hairstyles! Mix up your hairstyles from cute ponytails, messy buns, “wake up” hairstyles, let it down, etc.! You can even get your hair dyed, but that can be risky. The outcome is a 50/50 between coming out nicely. Ask a trusting hair stylist to help you out in choosing a hair color!
5. Smell good! Find a scent that isn’t heavy on the scent, but can still be detected when sniffed. :) Vanilla is a popular scent. Something fruity can catch boys’ attention. Or even a floral scent (but those can be on the heavy side so be careful!).
6. Your smile! Brush your teeth so that they are nice and white! Nothing says “turnoff” like yellow stained teeth and bad breath! Even add some light lip gloss to make your lips pop out. Or chapstick if you suffer from chapped lips.

Good luck!

How can I get rid of my acne?

I’m only 13 years old and I have acne all over my forehead and checks. I’ve used noxema, clearasil, St. Ives apricot scrub, and none of them seem to work. How can I get rid of my acne forever !? :(

When I was 12/13, I had awful acne (Stupid Mother Genetics…) but now I’m nearly 16 and my face is very clear, no bad breakouts or major zits, just a few tiny red things every now and then that go away very fast. I’ll tell you what I did and offer tips.

-Shower in the morning, and before you go to sleep.
-DO NOT touch your face, rest your head on your hand when you’re bored, or pick at acne. This will make it much worse, and picking can leave acne scars.
-DO NOT pop pimples. This can easily lead to scarring.
-Drink enough water; stay hydrated.
-Do not overwash your face, wash it twice a day after your showers. Overwashing will remove the natural oils, and your body will realize this and then over compensate, giving you oily skin.

Right, those were some tips you need to follow. Start counting how many times you touch your face, you’ll be surprised how often people do that. Now, for actual steps on getting RID of acne.

-Use Benzoyl Peroxide, I use “Spectro Acne Care Deep Pore Vanishing Lotion” and I put it on my face after washing my face in the mornings. It can dry out your face, so you face will have to get used to it first, but it works well. They’re cheap and clinically tested.

-When washing your face (Twice a day) wet it with water, then clean it with CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. This will help oily skin and wash your face well. Its great.

-Also, if your acne is mild/really bothering you, try to make an appointment with a Dermatologist. He/She will definitely help you, they know exactly what you’ll need, and make your skin much better. For example, I used to think scars were permanent. My doctor gave me Stieva-A, “Liquid Sandpaper” he called it. Now all my scars are gone, they are seriously amazing. They are also specialists, which means you may have to wait a long time before you get your appointment. Once you do get it, follow his/her order exactly, trust them. They know what they’re doing.

-Age it out. Acne happens mostly to us teenagers, but as that phase ends the acne will likely end too, in most cases. Only a few adults have to deal with acne forever, but the teenage years are always the worst.

Forgot name of medicine for acne therapy?

My doctor mentioned the name of a acne medicine that I would go to next if my current wouldn’t cure my acne. I Forgot the name of it though, I thought she said it was acetone therapy and you would have to take it for 3-6 months and it would pretty much get rid of acne forever. If anyone knows where I could find some information or have taken it please let me know.
