Get Rid Of Acne Forever

Mary asks…

What are some good at home remedies/treatments for acne?

I’ve always had a lot of redness all around my mouth, not really big pimples, just lots of acne. I’ve tried so many different products, ProActive, Clean & Clear, Repechage, the list could go on forever. I’m just looking for a at home treatment to help lighten up, or fully get rid of acne. What has worked best for you, and how long did it last?

Here are some natural treatments for pimples:

1. Tea tree oil is a popular home remedy for pimple. It is an essential oil that is diluted and applied topically to pimple lesions.

2. Zinc is another popular home remedy for pimple. A couple of research studies have found that zinc is somewhat effective.

3. Garlic juice is an effective way as a natural pimple treatment because garlic is a natural antibacterial agent. It contains sulfur which is nature’s antibiotic.

4. Honey contains potassium, which suffocates bacteria in pimple cells to get rid of pimples faster.

5. Dandelion is very effective in fighting pimple. Use the complete dandelion plant.

Trying to get rid of acne while following the Canadian food guide?

Apparently big causes of acne are milk and grain products. What I don’t understand is how I’m supposed to get rid of acne while still trying to follow the canadian food guide (6 grain, 3-4 milk products). Help!

Hi :) I know how you feel, I had severe acne* not so long ago and here’s what i’ve been doing (I started like 3 days before school started and the change was huge) :

*When I say severe acne- cysts, pustules, papules and every kind of pimple that stays forever on your face along with massive hyperpigmentation (dark spots from previous acne), so don’t feel too bad others have it worst.

SO on with my regimen.

HOW MY ACNE IS GOING AWAY: (starts from most essential)

1, *the most important step of all*
Do not touch or pick acne/face. Do not touch face at all except for cleansing. If this step is not followed, your acne will not go away, this counts for any regimen.

2, Wash face 1-2x daily with oatmeal (recipe in the end)

3, Spot treat at night with Humco calamine lotion(best brand with least chemicals) and moisturize with Koru Naturals Emu oil (except where you spot treated) .

4, Tone with a mixture of 1 part lemon/lime juice and 3 parts organic green tea(or regular, organic is better)

OKAY, now on with the recipe, the recipe is the h e a r t of this regimen:

I got the idea from this video

I however, grind the rolled oats (Old fashioned oatmeal from Publix, medium sized about $2, you can get it for like $1 at Walmart.) in a blender for about 1 minute, you don’t want to blend too much because you really want the exfoliation benefits.
I make about a cup and store it in a glass jar (with lid, you can use any old sauce one)
Every morning & night (Mostly, i’ve been doing it only at night since I have no time in the morning, no more than 2x a day in the mornings i just use african black soap) I put about a tablespoon of the oatmeal in my hand and put some water, you don’t want it too dry or too watery, but a pastey consistency, like how a regular mask is. I then rub that all over my skin, I focus on problem areas (mostly my whole face:P) and scrub really good, just be sure not to overdo it or you’ll end up damaging your skin (you will see that it’s not scratchy at all but it’s soothing and doesn’t hurt, if you are not grinding the oats, be sure to mash them with your fingers so it becomes more creamier and softer). After I scrub for about 30 seconds to a minute, I leave it on for 2-5 minutes(usually only 2 min)

I believe that is it. :)

Hopefully this helped you,

I also take raw bee propolis( a m a z o along with 25,000i.u. Of beta carotene (converts into vit A when it enters your body but disposes of the extras)
and that has helped a lot also. I just got off an antibiotic (about 5 days ago) however like the next day I had stopped my acne was coming back, I started with this regimen and my skin hasn’t looked this good in months. And just in time for school, lucky me, thank you GOD! <3
something i've really noticed with this regimen is that my face is not red any more and the inflammation has decreased immensely. (the calamine helps CYSTS SO MUCH! Not even kidding) Well wish you the best, don't worry too much it may seem like the worst thing that could happen to you now, but soon enough you will forget about it and be able to continue with life (: You can do it!

How to get rid of Acne that has been on your forehead forever?

I’ve had this acne on my forehead for quite a while, I wash my face twice a day and I use a cleanser for it. They are still there, and its hard not to scratch or pop them.. They don’t hurt though. Any home remedies or good acne cleansers I could get ?

Natural acne control protocol:
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
3/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. Pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn’t touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face…where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat and oil…just a hypothesis… But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin A causes skin to remove dermatophytes.
I never have had acne, a few pimples on my left chin where I am most likely to rest my hand.
