Get Rid Of Acne Overnight

Lisa asks…

Is there really an overnight cure to acne?

I know people say vinegar and toothpaste get rid of acne overnight. I tried vinegar and my acne was reduced but my face was not clear. Anyone know how to get clear pretty skin overnight through home remedies? (Or get rid of it in a few days) thanks :)

Tea Tree oil is the TRUTH!!!!

Some say you can apply it full strenght but I found another recipe- add it to witch hazel at a 1:2 ratio – so for every 1 part tee tree oil add to 2 parts witch hazel – put it in a travel sqeeze bottle and wipe over face after washing and before moisturizer in the am and pm with cotton ball- I use it in the morning before I put onmy makeup and it really gets rid of the redness, whiteheads, and shine –

The first time I used it a few pimples I had that night had flaked off by morning (UGH)- but its just that good-
I tried tooth paste B4- it dried the bumps out but it left a dark mark- and it burned all night and was all over my pillow

Apply some toothpaste on the acne. Ice down the acne before bed, by morning it should be noticeably better. Check out for more useful info.

How do I get rid of acne overnight with things from home?!?!?!!?

I just get little single pimples all the time and sometimes huge zits! I would like to know how to get rid of these over night or at leased in a day. Please help(:

1. Mashed avocado applied directly onto a larger pimple and left there for many hours (especially over night) will often help, if not “bring it to a head” that you can then pop…

2. Burt’s Bees acne sticks work wonders for a lot of people (but you would have to buy that). If you apply it generously at night the pimple(s) usually get a lot better by morning.

3. If you do pop your pimple, try putting a warm rag on the pimple first to, once again, draw the impurities to the surface.

Preventative measures:

4. As a preventative measure try moisturizing in the day and not at night (unless you’re older). I’ve heard that it works better with the skin’s natural balance. Also, try using baking soda to exfoliate your skin in the morning (about a teaspoon to tablespoon depending on your face sensitivity). Just wash your face with a mild soap (Cetaphil and Purpose seem to work the best for me and are inexpensive and can be found easily in drugstores) and then rinse with cooler water. Then, with a wet face, apply the baking soda directly to skin and rub gently in a circular motion for about 30 seconds or so, avoiding the eyes… Then rinse, of course with cool water again. In the morning use acne cleansing pads such as Oxy, Clearasil etc. And then use a moisturizer that wont clog your pores. In the evening use alcohol free witch hazel (you might have to go to a health food store for this) or the cleansing pads again…

5. Wash your face after you condition your hair. A lot of the products in conditioners can make acne worse.

6. Change your pillow-cases often.

7. Drink lots of water.

8. Get SLEEP!

9. Keep your skin exfoliated (as mentioned above). Do it about twice a week. And make sure it’s moisturized. (as mentioned above)

10. Some times if my skin is really bad I will use Queen Helene’s Mint Julep Mask while I’m sleeping. I put it on thickly too… It seems to clear out my pores very nicely, and once again it’s an inexpensive product that can be found in drugstores. It’s been around for a long while and the ingredients are also pretty natural…

Ok… More info than you asked for, but after struggling for years and finally have clear skin I felt I had to share. Hope it maybe helps.
