Treatments For Acne Marks

Lizzie asks…

What brand name of Hydroquinone cream are there available?

Hi, I recently discovered that the marks on my cheeks that I’ve had for over 10 years are actually post acne marks (hyperpigmentation).

I’ve done some research and it recommends treating it with a Hydroquinone cream and also an AHA treatment in both I’m fairly new to. Are there any Hydroquinone cream creams I can purchase at sephora or walgreens? I mean where do I find these stuff ?

admin answers:

It is rx only.

Do red acne marks ever go away?

I’ve started getting pimples around last summer. The amount started to decrease and now I have red acne marks all over my cheeks and some on my forehead. Do the red spots ever go away? Please give me tips and tell me if they go away.

Niapads removes all the acne marks. Sensible diet, good hygiene and low stress should keep acne away. Try some great OTC products like Niapads, Cetaphil etc. Remember, the most effective treatment is one that is simple to use. For eg. Cut a piece of Niapads, moisten it with water and place it on the yet to come to surface acne. Active ingredients penetrate skin and get rid of acne bacteria. Routine use of Niapads helps exfoliate, open clogged skin pores and gets rid of acne in one simple step without drying your skin. Contains Lavender oil – well known moisturizer. Niapads worked for me, try it.

Is there a cream i can use to fade acne marks while on accutane?

I have been on accutane a month and 2 weeks and am thinking since i have to be on accutane and when its over i will be left with all my marks still so it will take me time for them to heal. Could i use a cream at night that would help with the acne marks right now because it makes it look like i have more acne than i really do?

I would just do one thing at a time.

You see, accutane is such a strong drug, you want to try and minimize the other chemicals you apply to and put into your body while you are on this powerful medication.

I know its frustrating to be on accutane, because when they say it gets worse before it gets better, they really mean it. Its also frustrating to have to wait and wait for it to finally clear. The thing is, it really does work–you just have to be patient. Just tell yourself that eventually, your skin will look really good. Accutane will do the trick and soon, you wont believe you have such nice skin.

Then, after you finish taking this drug, if there are any remaining marks that bother you, you can address that with other treatments. But i would bet that at the end of all this, you will be pleased and rewarded for your patience.
