I use neutrogena advanced solutions face wash, treatment, and lotion. All oil free and its cleared my skin right up. Just wash face in the shower with the wash, put the treatment stuff on right after the shower, then use the lotion in the morning. It works wonders.

How to reduce redness due to acne on face?

I have acne on my face and am using a number of products, such as Retinae, Acne Free, and Minocycline. I do not have breakouts or bumps at all but I just have red spots from previous pimples. My upper cheeks are covered with small red spots and are red colored over all. What can I use to reduce the redness on my face, I’ve used the Acne Free redness control cream and it did nothing

I used to have the same problem as you, until my cousin told me how she kept her skin so clear. As it turns out, Saltwater is a really good acne treatment! Take 2-3 tablespoons of sea salt and heat one cup of water for one minute to one minute and thirty seconds. Mix the salt with the warm water, and dip a wash cloth into it and rub into your face. Do not rinse it off your face. Be sure to do this at night before you go to sleep and be sure to use SEA salt not table salt (it will just dry out your skin). The warm water will open up your pores and the salt and water will go inside. Due to the fact that oil is lighter than water, the oil will float to the top of the inside of your pore and will be disintegrated by the sea salt. You should see results in three days to one week.
