Treatments For Acne Scars On Face

Nancy asks…

How do I get rid of mild acne scars?

I have mild acne scars on my face from previous breakouts. I have a little acne still. How can I get rid of it myself?

admin answers:

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

What is the best drugstore exfoliator for acne scars?

I found a face wash that cleared up my acne but I have a lot of brown acne scars on my face and I heard exoliating helps fade them. I wanna try St. Ives apricot scrub but a lot of people say it ruins your skin but then other people said it’s a miracle worker. I have oily semi-sensitive skin by the way. Please make sure it’s from the drugstore also. Thanks so much, 10 points for the best answer.

Firstly id reccomend “Clearasil ultra deep pore treatment scrub” it smells amazing, and has a creamy texture aswel as micro beads.

IF you can’t get that then;

secondly, “neutrogena spot stress control daily scrub” this one is a bit harsher but smells gorgeous as wel.

Neither of them have damaged my skin or irritated it but I just have regular spots, not acne or scars. Give them a go.

Recent acne scar removal treatment research has shown that the topic of how to get rid of acne scars is usually more devastating to young adults than it usually is to prepubescent teenagers. This is true even when treatments have been successful in clearing the skin. The problem is that even after using the best treatment for acne, you may need to follow up with an acne scars treatment to get rid of dark marks and pits left on your face.

Historically, removal is something that young adults do not do for a variety of reasons. For some, the trauma they went through to finally have smooth skin, was so much that they just do not want to do anything else that might jeopardize their good results. Others are concerned that to remove their acne they may require surgery which might make their scars worse. Still others believe that it is too expensive requiring things like cosmetic plastic surgery or a laser treatment.

What many people do not realize is that there are additional professional treatments available that do not require scar removal through laser surgery. There are even home remedies that use over the counter items for removing scars.

The difference today is that there are more choices than ever available to not just teenagers, but now for young adults as well. In the past, diagnosis and treatments were focused on the prepubescent and teenage acne sufferer. More scar treatments are now available ranging in price from a fast and effective, but high-priced laser treatment, to a less expensive fade scar chemical treatment, to free but long-duration home remedies.

Young adult sufferers should not fear getting rid of acne scars any further. Since so much of success in love and business rides on our physical appearance, spending whatever can be budgeted is probably the wisest thing possible to do.
