Treatments For Acne Scars

Joseph asks…

Does laser treatment for acne scars really work?

I was considering having laster treatment for my acne scars and I want to hear from someone who ACTUALLY took the treatment.
Does it hurt?
How long does it take?
Does it really work, is it COMPLETELY gone?

I have them and after sitting through the education sessions in the doctor’s office, I opted NOT to get it done. Basically it’s like someone scalded your face off. They have blistering, pustules, and their skin is horribly raw, bleeding in some places. It looks like they have been boiled. Scared the heck out of me. I was told it took 6 weeks to heal. The after results didn’t look all that fantastic either. I had to watch videos and look at pictures and whatnot.

I can tell you from experience (I’m now 35) that you can lessen your scars greatly on your own. If you’ll get yourself on an alternating regimen of over the counter alpha and beta hydroxy cleansers, peels, and microdermabrasion over time your scars will begin to fade. Email me if you want the names of what I have used.

My face is fairly clear and because of that the couple of acne scars I have are very noticeable. I’d like to know of a treatment that can make these ugly marks go away. Do you guys know of where I could get ahold of a good treatment? Maybe at Sephora?
