    Lucky you. I got mine but did not take pain medicine. They put a numbing gel on my skin. When the procedure started, it was like someone putting cigarettes out on my face! They had to stop, apply a STRONGER gel, give my an ibuprofen and sit me in a room for another hour. It was MUCH better, but it was still painful around my eyes and lips. This was Friday, today is Monday and I still look like a lobster…. Yesterday was tough because my skin felt like tiny hairs were tickling my face.

    I had it done yesterday. No IV, no pain meds….they did use the cream. No nerve blocks either. It hurt…I see some of these people say it felt like rubber bands hiting their face. I almost came off the table. I look like I have a sun burn with white around my eyes. Went to store yesterday and small children were looking at me.
